What is PQMS?
Power Quality Management System, or PQMS, is a system for measuring, analyzing, and managing power quality. It focuses on two major factory issues: low Power Factor and Harmonics, or THD, caused by non-linear loads, with a target THD result of < 5%.
The system helps engineering teams view Power Factor, Reactive Power, Harmonic Spectrum, and Total Harmonic Distortion, or THD, together with issue trends that affect electrical system stability and efficiency.
Nova Green uses PQMS data to design improvement plans such as Power Factor Correction and Harmonic Mitigation, controlling PF and reducing Harmonics or THD to a target result of < 5%, based on actual site conditions.
